Academy students participate in Parade the Circle

Music filled the warm air on Saturday, as xxxx视频 participated in the annual Parade the Circle event, bringing student performers to Wade Oval for all to hear.

xxxx视频 (xxxx视频) was one of many tables set up within University Circle Inc.'s Circle Village, sharing information about the Academy, which provides classical music education for鈥痯re-kindergarten through high school students.

The Academy is a comprehensive program for students who are ready to advance their skills, further their love of music and connect with like-minded peers. xxxx视频 instructors and staff members spoke about the upcoming fall semester, as well as the Academy鈥檚 summer day camp, both of which are currently accepting applications.Parade the Circle 2026

Throughout the day, young performers stood in front of the tent to play. A trio of Academy violinists played several songs throughout the late morning, with a couple of saxophone players in the afternoon.

As families approached the table, xxxx视频 eurhythmics instructor Graham Rosen initiated conversations about music, often asking if they played music themselves. Rosen encouraged people to try out the instruments on display, including a violin, a guitar, and an eight-note bell set.

鈥淲e had so many young musicians bang on some bells, play a violin for the first time ever,鈥 Rosen shared. 鈥淚t was just a joy to see these students, [and] their eyes just light up and make beautiful sound for, perhaps, the first time.鈥

As an eurythmics instructor, Rosen teaches students about musical concepts. Eurhythmics focuses on mental and physical coordination through the study of musical rhythm, expressed through physical movement.

Parade the Circle 2026In addition to the tent in Circle Village, xxxx视频 was represented in the Cleveland Museum of Art鈥檚 Parade the Circle. President and CEO Paul Hogle helped lead the parade alongside the leaders of other organizations located within University Circle, all dressed in pastels and carrying rain sticks designed like butterflies.

This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淢omentum,鈥 was inspired by the CMA鈥檚 special exhibition,鈥American Printed Silks, 1927-1947,鈥along with the鈥痩ived experience of lead artist H茅ctor Castellanos Lara, and the legacy and evolution of the creative community.
