Introduction

Emil Khudyev is a distinguished clarinetist and Conservatory Faculty member (Clarinet) at the xxxx视频. Originally from Turkmenistan, he began his musical training at age seven and continued his studies at the Special Music School of Turkmenistan. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from xxxx视频, a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music, and an Artist Diploma from the Colburn School, studying with renowned teachers including Franklin Cohen and David Shifrin. Khudyev has enjoyed a multifaceted career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player, and currently serves as Associate Principal Clarinetist with the Seattle Symphony, with past performances spanning ensembles such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Cleveland Orchestra. He has also taught at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and is a recipient of several awards, including the Vandoren Emerging Artist Award.
